V2R Vision to Reality was founded in 1999 based on the idea to make real mobile computing become a Reality. Our mission is to make the Vision of wireless communications, mobile multimedia and Geo-Commerce to become Reality.
V2R's success story began with a vision of mobile communications solutions that influences society in unique ways, ways that allow a seamless usage within different horizontal and vertical markets.
As we enter the new millennium, today's information society is rapidly evolving into tomorrow's online society. The need for online information accessible from any where at anytime is growing rapidly. The means of communicating have changed dramatically over the past few years, driven by Internet availability, the growth of inexpensive wireless network access, and the wide spread acceptance of email as an everyday means of communicating. The convergence of inexpensive mobile computing and mobile communications has created a unique opportunity for new business ideas.
"In the beginning was a vision of an application that gives every user individually-tailored information simply, at a fingertip, anywhere and at anytime..."

While Mozilla's Fennec mobile Web browser isn't yet available for Windows Mobile but for the Maemo platform only (which is the preferred development platform), the Fennec developers made some good progress and recently released Fennec Alpha 2. While it's still an early developer release of the mobile version of Firefox, for testing purposes only, the initial focus of development was on building a new user interface that reflects Firefox's design principles and adds touch screen support and other features that are appropriate for mobile phones and other handheld devices.
